Bawumia joined various stakeholders to officially launch the 100-day countdown to the games.
As part of the countdown event, Vice President Bawumia conducted an inspection of the newly constructed ultra-modern facilities in Borteyman and at the University of Ghana, which will serve as venues for the African Games. These state-of-the-art facilities showcase Ghana’s commitment to providing top-notch infrastructure for sports development.
In a tweet, the Vice President stated, “These beautiful, multi-purpose facilities do not only demonstrate Ghana’s readiness to host the rest of Africa but also underline the unprecedented investment our government has made in the provision of sports infrastructure.” The government’s investment includes the construction of 10 sports stadia in each of the 10 old regions, highlighting a significant push to enhance sports development across the country.
