The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) President, Mustapha Berraf, has shared a message ahead of the 2025 African Youth Games, scheduled to take place from December 10 to 20, 2025, in Angola. The games will be held across three cities, bringing together young athletes from across the continent to showcase their talent and potential.

Berraf highlighted the transformative power of sport in uniting the continent and promoting African values. “Our mission is to tap into Africa’s vibrant youth energy, uniting the continent through the transformative power of sport, while preserving shared achievements,” he stated.
The ANOCA President urged Africans to come together and promote African values through sports and olympism. “We should always bear in mind it is our duty to promote African values through sports and olympism. Angola 2025 will embody this ideal, as we will come together,” he said.
Berraf’s message concluded with a call to action, emphasizing the theme of the games: “United by Sport, Inspired by Youth.”
