The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) begins tomorrow, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, across all regions of Ghana.
According to the Ministry of Education, 603,328 candidates, 306,078 females and 297,250 males, are expected to sit for this year’s exams. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has confirmed that all necessary materials have been delivered nationwide to 2,237 designated exam depots.
The exams will run for one week and end on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
