The 2025 JC Sherbrah Cup, a juvenile soccer tournament aimed at promoting grassroots football in Ghana, came to a successful close in Ashaiman, Accra. The event, which took place at the Ashaiman school park brought together over 10 schools from the Tema-Ashaiman municipality, showcasing the talents of young and aspiring footballers.
The tournament was characterized by intense and thrilling matches, with participants displaying exceptional skills and sportsmanship. The presence of international scouts and trainers added to the excitement, as they scouted for talented young players to nurture and develop.
The organizers ensured that the event was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, with winners from forms 1, 2, and 3 receiving medals, trophies, and products from sponsors.

According to Nicklas Sherbrah, the founder of the JC Sherbrah Cup, “The future of Ghanaian football lies in the development of our youth, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the necessary platforms to showcase their talents.”
He expressed his gratitude to the FIFA “Football For schools,” initiative implementers, as well as the participants, for their contributions to the success of the event.
