Celebrating Ghanaian Music at the 2025 Telecel Awards
The 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) has unveiled its nominees for the 26th edition, set to take place on May 3, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre. Ahead of the ceremony, a pre-event party is scheduled for May 2, providing an opportunity for industry stakeholders and music lovers to network and celebrate.
In the Artiste of the Year category, Stonebwoy, King Promise, and Black Sherif have secured nominations once again, joined by Kweku Smoke, King Paluta, Team Eternity, and Joe Mettle. The Best Rap Performance category will see fierce competition from Sarkodie, Okyeame Kwame, Flowking Stone, Eno Barony, Kweku Smoke, and Lyrical Joe.

The Best Gospel Artiste of the Year nominees include Joe Mettle, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Empress Gifty, Team Eternity Ghana, and MOG Music. Meanwhile, the Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year category features chart-toppers like King Promise’s “Paris,” Black Sherif’s “January 9,” and Stonebwoy’s “Jejereje,” among others.
In the Reggae/Dancehall space, nominees for the Reggae/Dancehall Song category include Stonebwoy’s “Psalm 23” and Ras Kuuku’s “Road of Evil,” while Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year contenders include Jupitar, Samini, Stonebwoy, and Rocky Dawuni.
This year’s TGMA promises an exciting celebration of Ghanaian music talent and a platform to honor achievements across diverse genres.
