A 23-Year-Old Ghanaian Man Was Stabbed to Death At Workplace


A 23-year-old Ghanaian man, identified as Alfred, was fatally stabbed in Saskatoon, Canada, on Monday night, January 22, 2025. The attack occurred at approximately 7:00 PM, leaving the community in shock.

According to reports, Alfred was attacked by a 53-year-old co-worker and friend during a work break. The suspect allegedly stabbed him 17 times without provocation before fleeing the scene. Saskatoon police later apprehended the suspect a short distance away.

Maame Pokuah, a Ghanaian resident in Toronto, revealed that Alfred had only recently moved to Canada in September 2024. She also stated that the suspect regularly picked him up for work, making the brutal attack even more unexpected.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the case, with the Major Crime Section leading efforts to determine the motive behind the attack. The reason for the brutal assault remains unclear.
