Runathon Ghana Foundation, organizers of the Black Star Marathon have unveiled the current sponsors for the upcoming event, which is scheduled to take place on July 27, 2024, at the Independence Square in Accra.

The event, which is expected to attract over 1000 athletes, will feature both 42.2KM marathon (for men and women), a 42.2KM wheelchair marathon (for men and women), and a 10KM mass run/jog/walk.

As part of the preparation processes, the organizers have outlined a suitable and safe environment for participants. This includes ensuring that the route is clear of obstacles, providing adequate water and medical supplies, a robust security plan to prevent race bandits and cheats, and top-notch race management procedures.

The organizers have also unveiled their strategic partnerships with several reputable organizations, including The Trust Hospital, Drake Relays, Egotickets, and the Ghana Athletics Association.

These partnerships are aimed at ensuring the success of the event and providing a memorable experience for all participants.
