The Ghana Para-Powerlifting team is currently in Paris, France, preparing for the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games, scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024. 

Following their impressive performance in Georgia, the six-member team, comprising three athletes, two coaches, and a team leader, is leveraging this training camp to enhance their skills and aim for a medal at the Paris Games.

The team, based in Gennevilliers, is benefiting from the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the French Embassy in Ghana, and the Mayor of Gennevilliers. 

The athletes, Tahiru Haruna, Isaac Obeng, and Patricia Nyamekye, are being guided by coaches Prince Nyarko and George Ohene Adu, with Majeed Eldeen serving as team leader.

The training camp provides the athletes with access to advanced training regimes, positioning Ghana for a strong performance at the Paralympic Games.
