The Ghana Amputee Football Team, the Black Challenge, was honored by the Ghana Football Awards for their remarkable achievement in defending their AFCON title in Egypt.
The special awards were presented during a ceremony at the Accra International Conference Center on Saturday, June 29th.
The team’s outstanding performances throughout the tournament garnered widespread attention.
The Black Challenge won all their group matches and triumphed over Morocco in the finals with a score of 2-1 to retain their title.
Since their victorious return, the team has received numerous goodwill messages and support from the state and individuals.
The latest recognition came from the Ghana Football Awards organizers, who honored the team with special awards for their exceptional aaccomplishments.
