Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Pru East Constituency in the Bono East Region, has donated 18 brand new desktop computers to Yeji Senior High Technical School (YESTECH) as part of his commitment to enhancing education in the constituency. The donation, which took place on July 29, 2024, aims to bridge the digital divide and provide students with the necessary tools to excel in today’s technology-driven world.

During the presentation ceremony, Hon. Boam emphasized the importance of technology in achieving quality education, stating, “I believe that every student deserves access to quality education, and technology plays a critical role in achieving this goal.” He cautioned the students to use the computers under the guidance of the ICT tutor and expressed his vision to improve education and create opportunities for the youth in the constituency.

The school’s administration and students’ representative body expressed their gratitude for the donation, acknowledging its impact on their academic pursuits. The assistant headmaster (academics) thanked Hon. Boam for his commitment to education and wished him success in his elections, also seeking a modern dining hall for the school in the future.
