Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson has revealed that she sold her house to fund the construction of the Yvonne Nelson International School. Nelson shared that her daughter’s educational needs and dissatisfaction with existing schools inspired her to open her own institution.

Nelson explained that her daughter often returned home with bruises and insect bites, and the academic standards did not meet her expectations. Faced with financial challenges and denied loans from banks, she decided to sell her house to pursue her passion for education.
