Highlife musician Bisa Kdei, born Roland Kwaku Dei Appiah, has expressed concerns over the increasing number of unemployed university graduates in Ghana. In a recent interview, the singer revealed that he frequently receives messages from graduates seeking job opportunities.

I’ve gotten a lot of people who have graduated from university but are jobless, and they keep texting me every day that they want a job to do”

Bisa Kdei also voiced frustrations over the rising dollar exchange rate and continuous tax impositions in the country. According to him, these economic challenges are making life increasingly difficult for the average Ghanaian.

The system has become so hard, and we keep imposing taxes on almost everything”

Kdei pointed out the lack of job opportunities, stressing that many are struggling to make ends meet. He suggested easing restrictions on activities such as betting, as people see it as a way to survive during difficult times. “If there’s a bet that people can make a living out of, they should ease it for more people to get involved,” he added.
