The second edition of the Beach Rugby League concluded in thrilling fashion at the Laboma Beach Resort on September 21, 2024, where Beaufort Properties defended their title, emerging as champions for the second consecutive time. The event brought together 16 teams from various sectors to battle it out in one of Ghana’s most exciting and fast-growing sports tournaments.

The day began with a communal beach cleanup exercise, in line with the Seventh World Beach Cleanup Day, as players, volunteers, and corporate Ghana united to clean up the beach before the games. Following the cleanup, attention quickly turned to the Beach Rugby League, which featured intense competition featuring 16 participating teams  grouped as follows:

Group 1:  Bolt Ghana, Jibu Ghana, Ghana Wildlife Society, DHL

Group 2:  France Voluntaire Ghana, Ecozoil, Regardless Mode, CMA CGM

Group 3:  Rotary Club, Hapag Lloyd, Sahara Solace, Beaufort Properties

Group 4:  Street Sense Organisation, Lions Club, Polytank, Ghana Link

Each group delivered high-energy performances, with teams demonstrating skill, teamwork, and determination. After 31 hard-fought matches, Beaufort Properties emerged victorious, securing the top spot for the second consecutive year. Ghana Wildlife Society came in a close second, showcasing impressive resilience and skill throughout the tournament.
