The footage captures faecal matter splattered across the ground, with waste scattered from the damaged tricycle. Although no casualties were reported, the incident has raised concerns about air pollution and prompted calls for improved safety regulations for heavy-duty vehicles.
This accident adds to a growing list of road incidents in Ghana. The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) reported 1,237 road deaths between January and June 2024, a 13% rise compared to 2023.
