In a generous gesture, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs and Omanhene of Breman Traditional Area, donated 600 boxes of disposable gowns to the Kasoa polyclinic in the Central Region on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
This donation comes as a response to the recent outbreak of Cholera in Kasoa and other parts of the region.
Dr. Agnes Anane, Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, received the donation on behalf of the polyclinic. The donation aims to support healthcare workers in their efforts to combat the spread of the disease. Proper hygiene and sanitation practices are crucial in preventing the spread of Cholera, and the disposable gowns will play a significant role in maintaining cleanliness at the healthcare facility
