As the Ghana Amputee National Football Team, “The Black Challenge,” prepares to face Morocco in their final game, President Samson Deen of the Ghana/Africa Paralympic Committee has issued a powerful message of encouragement, urging the team to draw on their unwavering determination and focus to emerge victorious.

“LIFE IS A HUSTLE,” President Deen reminds the team, “but you are not just anyone. You are The Ghana Amputee National Football Team, and your potential for success is limitless.” He acknowledges the challenges they have faced, but assures them that “the hard times you are going through now won’t last forever. The good times are indeed coming, due to this coming glorious victory.”

President Deen emphasizes the team’s unique journey, marked by determination and focus. “Your dedication to the sport sets you apart and makes you a team to be reckoned with,” he says. He encourages them to maintain their focus, not just for personal success, but for each other and for the nation.

In a rousing call to action, President Deen urges the team to “hustle and endure in silence, paving the way for success to make the noise.” He reminds them that their happiness is the greatest revenge against those who wish to bring them down, and assures them that their hard work and dedication will not go unnoticed.

With a promise to settle outstanding payments, including per diems, bonuses, and victory bonuses, President Deen concludes with a rallying cry: “Win for me, yourselves, and win for the Ghanaian population of persons with disabilities; win for the honest Ghanaian. Make Ghana proud!!!”
