Spintex Knights showcased their supremacy in the Accra Basketball League with a commanding 84-41 victory over GRA’s Braves in their Round 2 clash on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

Heading into the matchup, Knights sat atop the league table with 34 points from 17 games, while Braves trailed with 28 points from 16 outings. Knights had already secured bragging rights in the first round with an emphatic 87-56 win, and they proved once again why they are the team to beat.

Led by captain Elvis Pobi Siaw, alongside Treasure Botchway, Omari Benjamin, Ashitei Benjamin, and Bassey Effiong, Knights controlled the game from start to finish. They edged the first quarter 15-12, widened the gap with a 22-10 second quarter, and completely dominated the third with a 23-8 run before sealing the deal in the final stretch.

Although both sides scored fewer points compared to their first-round encounter, the Knights’ superiority was unquestionable—dropping from 87 to 84 points, while Braves fell further from 56 to just 41.

Effiong Bassey and Yakubu Aziz stood out as the MVPs of the night, guiding the Knights as they now set their sights on the playoffs.
