Madina, Legon, and East Legon Among Worst-Hit Areas
A heavy downpour on Tuesday evening left parts of Accra severely flooded, causing significant infrastructure damage in areas including Madina, Legon, Okponglo, and East Legon.
Flooded Roads and Collapsed Structures
The intense rainfall submerged roads, creating traffic disruptions and leaving many residents and commuters stranded. Several billboards collapsed due to strong winds, and at the A&C Mall in East Legon, a carport reportedly caved in, adding to the destruction.
