The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Ghana Tourism Authority, and Black Star Experience have successfully launched this year’s December In Ghana initiative, aimed at promoting the country’s tourism sector and heritage.

The initiative launched on Monday, 13th October by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah at the Jubilee house features a wide range of activities, including cultural performances, food festivals, and music concerts.

The Matriarch’s Verse Experience will take place from Monday, 1st to Saturday, 6th December, at various venues including the British Council, National Theatre, and Aguma Tea and Herbs. The SHE RHYTHMS FESTIVAL GHANA is scheduled for Thursday, 4th to Saturday, 6th December, at Alliance Française and +233 Jazz Pub and Grill.

The African Food Festival will be held on Friday, 5th December, at Bunso Eco Park, while the Ghana Food Festival 2025 will take place on Friday, 5th and Saturday, 6th December, at the Untamed Empire. Other events include the Made in Ghana Fair on Friday, 5th December, at the Forecourt of the National Theatre, and the AYEWA FESTIVAL on Friday, 5th December, at Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

The Diaspora Summit 2025 will be held on Friday, 19th December, and Saturday, 20th, at the AICC and Palms Convention Center. The Around the World Food & Drinks Festival will take place on Thursday, 25th December, at GHUD Park. The Roverman Festival of Plays will run from Thursday, 25th to Sunday, 28th December, at the National Theatre.

The AfroFuture Festival, a celebration of African music, fashion, and art, will take place on Sunday, 28th December, at El Wak Sports Stadium. The AfroFuture PVO New Year’s Eve Party will be held on Wednesday, 31st December, at Labadi Beach Hotel.
