The Council of African Ministers of Youth, Sports and Culture has announced that it has officially chosen Egypt to host the 2027 Africa Games.

This will be the second time that the country of the pyramids has hosted the 1991 edition. The decision was endorsed at a meeting held on Saturday, September 9, alongside the Africa Games in Ghana.

The Africa Games are the largest sports forum in Africa. They are held every four years under the supervision of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa.
