AmaliTech, a prominent IT training and services company based in Europe and Africa, celebrated the official opening of its new office in Accra. The grand opening event, attended by representatives from top companies, including the German Embassy, German Development Cooperation, and Ghana Freezones Authority Limited, highlighted AmaliTech’s significant role in driving the digital agenda and creating sustainable jobs in the IT sector.

Headquartered in Germany, with offices in Rwanda and Ghana, AmaliTech has experienced substantial growth since its establishment four years ago. With 381 employees worldwide, over 300 of whom are based in Ghana, the company has contributed significantly to reducing youth unemployment in the country.

During the event, AmaliTech’s CEO, Mr. Martin Hecker, announced plans for further expansion in Ghana, with a new office scheduled to open in Kumasi next year. The company recently expanded its Accra office, securing additional spaces within the same area.

AmaliTech is known for its commitment to continuous learning, offering digital training programs to equip young people with the skills needed in the current digital age. The training programs, varying in duration, aim to produce high-quality, job-ready graduates. The German Development Cooperation expressed pride in AmaliTech’s achievements and pledged ongoing support for their initiatives, addressing the digital skills shortage in Europe and addressing job market challenges in Africa.
