The Commander of The Blue Army Movement, Hon. Moses Abor, met with sympathizers and grassroots members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region on February 28, 2025. The meeting provided a platform for members to express their concerns and frustrations about being overlooked by the previous NPP government and some government officials.
The esteemed members expressed deep concerns about how they had been treated by the previous administration, including some government officials. This has led to a growing sense of disconnect between the grassroots and the government. The discussion focused on reviving the spirit of the Party in the region, fostering unity, and re-engaging the Party’s task force members to help rebuild for the future.
Hon. Moses Abor reassured members that The Blue Army Movement is committed to bridging the gap between the next NPP government and the grassroots of the Party. He encouraged them to remain steadfast and assured them that the next NPP government would be more aligned with the needs and concerns of the grassroots.

The meeting marked a significant step towards achieving this goal, as The Blue Army Movement was officially established in the Upper East Region. This development is expected to strengthen the Party’s base, empower its members, and foster a more united and formidable New Patriotic Party.
The Upper East Region, with its rich cultural heritage and diverse population, plays a crucial role in Ghana’s political landscape. As the Party works to rebuild and strengthen its presence in the region, it is essential to engage with grassroots members and address their concerns.

With The Blue Army Movement leading the charge, the New Patriotic Party is poised to make significant strides in the Upper East Region and beyond come 2028.
