The Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa (CFLE Africa) is leading a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about estate and gift planning. This critical subject is often overlooked, but it’s essential for protecting families, securing legacies, and building a sustainable future. Throughout October, CFLE Africa and its strategic partners will engage different segments of society through various activities.

CFLE Africa aims to promote financial literacy, break myths around death and inheritance, and encourage philanthropy.

Estate and gift planning involves making informed decisions about asset management, transfer, and distribution during one’s lifetime or after passing. Without proper planning, families face avoidable disputes, financial losses, and broken legacies.

The campaign includes several activities, such as the National Estate and Gift Planning Awareness Conference 2025, scheduled for October 17, 2025, at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (GI-KACE), Accra.

The flagship event will discuss effective estate planning strategies, business succession planning, and legacy building. Additionally, CFLE Africa will organize community sensitization programs, school outreaches, and media engagements to amplify the conversation nationwide.

CFLE Africa, led by Executive Director Peter Asare Nyarko extends an open invitation to corporate organizations, nonprofits, schools, and individuals to partner in driving financial literacy and promoting estate planning education. Together, we can secure today and safeguard tomorrow.
