Artist Manager Blasts Paluta’s Unprofessional Rant at Fan

Ghanaian artist manager Bullgod sharply criticized King Paluta on United Showbiz on July 5, 2025, for insulting a female fan at the All-White Boat Party in London on June 29. Paluta paused his performance to lash out at a guest who appeared disinterested, calling her “foolish” and mocking her wig, as seen in a viral video.

Bullgod called Paluta’s actions immature, saying musicians are overly pampered and expect constant praise, unlike soldiers or doctors. He noted Paluta’s 15 years underground, warning such behavior could stall his career for “88 years.” Bullgod urged artists to respect audiences and build a strong personality beyond music.

The incident sparked online backlash, with netizens on X labeling Paluta’s outburst unprofessional and demanding an apology. Some argued he should accept criticism, as not all fans will enjoy his performance. Others defended him, citing the fan’s alleged gesture to end his set early.

MC Yaa Yeboah, on the same show, said Paluta “lacks personality” outside his music, urging personal growth to sustain fame. The controversy follows Paluta’s rising success with hits like “Aseda” and “Makoma,” but this incident has overshadowed his recent achievements.

As the debate continues, Paluta has not issued a statement. The incident highlights tensions between artists and audiences, with calls for better training to handle criticism professionally and maintain Ghana’s music industry reputation.
