The Captain Barron Foundation, in collaboration with Brentford Football Club of England, has extended a helping hand to six Ghanaian para-sports entities. On Friday, October 25, 2024, the foundation donated training kits to these organizations, reaffirming its commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities and promoting para-sports.
The beneficiaries of the generous donation include Up and Shine Foundation, Special Olympics Ghana, Ghana Amputee Football, Ghana Blind Soccer Association, Ghana Deaf Football Association, and Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy Club. The donated items comprised football jerseys, boots, bibs, gloves, and jackets, essential for enhancing the athletes’ performance.

According to Mr. Isaac Anaman, representative of the Captain Barron Foundation, the organization believes in the power of resilience, strength of the human spirit, and the potential within every individual. The foundation’s mission is to promote inclusion, foster independence, and inspire the next generation of athletes to achieve their greatest ambitions.
