Captain Planet Speaks Out on 4×4 Reunion Speculation

Captain Planet, a former member of the once-popular 4×4 band, has put to rest fans’ hopes for the group to reunite. Formed in 2000, the hip-hop group, consisting of Captain Planet (Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey), Coded (Russell Edem Avornyo), and Fresh Prince (Prince Tamakloe), won many accolades and the hearts of Ghanaians. However, they disbanded around 2015 as members pursued solo careers.

Captain Planet expressed that although they are too mature to reform as a group, fans can still enjoy their old hits. He hinted at the possibility of performing group songs at future events but reiterated that 4×4 will not be making new music together.

“Massa, 4×4 no dey come back anywhere,” he wrote, urging fans to appreciate their past work. Captain Planet made it clear that their individual talents will continue to flourish, even without a formal group structure.
