The Chief of Oyarifa, Nii Sowah Gb)bil) Dzata II, has expressed his utmost admiration for the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama. In a recent statement, the chief praised President Mahama’s leadership, saying he is the right man for the job.

This endorsement comes on the heels of the national budget presentation by Finance Minister, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, which announced the scrapping of taxes and levies implemented by the previous government.

In the 2025 budget read on Tuesday, 11th March, 2025 by the finance minister, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, government announced the removal of five nuisance taxes, including E-Levy and Betting Tax, to ease the burden on citizens and businesses.

According to Nii Dzata II, President Mahama’s ability to deliver on his promises has earned him a new nickname: “Mr. Talk and Do.” The chief’s statement suggests that he is impressed by the president’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
