Rapper’s Private Jet Business Thrives While On Trial
Sean “Diddy” Combs, despite being in jail, has earned $4.1 million by renting out his $60 million Gulfstream G550 private jet since his September 2024 arrest, according to reports from June 30, 2025. The jet, operated under his company LoveAir LLC, has been rented 126 times, logging nearly 150,000 miles, with each trip costing $32,597.
The 14-seater luxury jet, based at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, is marketed through charter sites as “Jetty” by Silver Air. Many clients are unaware that Diddy owns it. He offered the jet as collateral for his $50 million bail, but the judge rejected it. The income helps offset his $10 million legal defense costs in his ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering trial.

Diddy, held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related crimes, which he denies. His trial, which began in May 2025, includes testimony from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and others about alleged abuse. The jet rental business continues to run smoothly, unaffected by his legal troubles.
The jet, a jet-black Gulfstream G550 built in 2015, offers a lavish oak-colored interior with spacious seating. Diddy, once worth nearly a billion dollars, has seen his wealth shrink due to the scandal sparked by Cassie’s 2023 lawsuit. The jet rentals provide a key revenue stream as he fights multiple lawsuits and criminal charges.
Prosecutors claim Diddy ran a criminal enterprise, using his business empire to commit crimes. His defense argues that the case targets his private life unfairly. As the trial continues, the jet rentals show Diddy’s ability to maintain business operations from behind bars, drawing attention to his financial moves amid serious allegations.
