The Nova Impact 2025 Steminist conference, scheduled for Saturday, 22nd March, 2025, is officially set to kick off. With final preparations underway, the Steminist conference aims to empower women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and guidance.
The conference will serve as a platform to discuss the issues that hinder women’s participation in STEM, inspire and support women to take up opportunities in STEM fields. A range of life-changing topics are lined up for discussion, and experienced women and STEM advocates are expected to speak on the theme “Accelerating Action: Building Inclusive STEM Ecosystems For Women.”
Madam Priscilla Nana Yaa O. Opoku, Tech & Digitalization Advisor and Regional Lead at the Embassy of Denmark, will attend as the special guest of honor. The keynote speaker, Madam Selawoe Akusika Ayetor, Programs Associate at SheRise Tech, will speak on the topic “Accelerating Action: Empowering Women and Girls in STEM Learning.”

Participants will also benefit from an in-depth panel discussion on the topic “From Awareness to Action: Supporting Women at All Stages of STEM Careers.” Certificates and testimonials will be presented to participants who enrolled in the digital and marketing workshop held earlier.
As part of the long-term project to empower women, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is expected to be signed between the organizers and SheRise Tech.
The much anticipated event is supported by NIIT (Jackson Institute of Technology), SheRise Technology and IOT network of hub among others.
