The Nova Impact LBG is proud to present the STEMinist Conference, an annual event designed to empower and inspire young women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Scheduled for March 2025, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the conference will bring together students, industry leaders, and innovators to address gender disparities in STEM and promote inclusive growth.
The STEMinist Program, under which the conference is organized, is dedicated to equipping young women with essential STEM skills through interactive workshops, mentorship opportunities, conferences, and employment.
The program’s mission is to bridge the gender gap in STEM by empowering women to lead and innovate. As a precursor to the event, Nova Impact is hosting a free digital marketing workshop for women between the ages of 16-35.
The STEMinist Conference promises to be an exciting and enriching experience, with keynote speeches from influential women in STEM, panel discussions on challenges and opportunities for women in STEM, hands-on workshops in coding, data analysis, digital marketing, web development, and engineering concepts, and networking sessions with mentors and industry leaders.
Nova Impact has set ambitious impact goals for the STEMinist Program, including training 100 young women in STEM fields by the end of 2025, facilitating mentorship and internship placements for 50 participants, and increasing female representation in STEM by 10% within five years.
