The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted official approval for the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 competition, a prestigious pre-season tournament organized by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).

Slated to take place from August 20 to 24, 2025, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, the competition will serve as a vital preparatory platform for top-tier clubs ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

This year’s edition will feature four of Ghana’s premier football clubs: Gold Stars FC, reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League; Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. The tournament promises high-quality football as the participating teams look to fine-tune their squads, assess new signings, and build momentum for the 2025/26 campaign.

The GFA has expressed full confidence in the clubs’ adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements, emphasizing the importance of discipline, organization, and fair play throughout the tournament.

All stakeholders including clubs, match officials, media, and fans—are encouraged to take note of the approved dates and comply with the relevant guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful event.

The 2025 GHALCA Top 4 is expected to not only provide thrilling football action but also set the tone for what promises to be an exciting Premier League season ahead.
