GEPA is collaborating with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to offer extension services, ensuring global standards are met. Additionally, Ghana’s non-traditional exports grew to $3.94 billion in 2023, with iron, steel, and cocoa paste contributing significantly.

Dr. Asabea Asare highlighted GEPA’s “Youth in Export” programme, which has created over 500 jobs. With a third cohort planned, the initiative is expected to generate 4,000 direct jobs.

GEPA is also committed to empowering women in the export sector through targeted programmes, ensuring inclusive growth and broader economic opportunities for all sectors of society.
