The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF) is thrilled to announce the upcoming National Cycling Championship, scheduled to take place on November 30, 2024, in Accra, Olebu – Vicolis. This highly anticipated event brings together Ghana’s top cyclists from 26 affiliate clubs to compete for the national title and a chance to represent Ghana in future international competitions.

The championship aims to showcase the talents and hard work of Ghanaian cyclists, highlighting the strength and potential of Ghana’s cycling community. Open to both male and female competitors, the National Championship will feature multiple race categories, from junior to elite levels. Over 100 cyclists and 50 delegates from various affiliate clubs are expected to participate.

GCF President, Mohammed B. Sahnoon Esq., expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The National Cycling Championship embodies our mission to promote cycling and support athlete growth. We’re committed to nurturing top talent and elevating Ghana’s presence in competitive cycling.”

The National Cycling Championship is made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, Promasidor Ghana Ltd, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ghana Olympic Committee, National Sports Authority, and others.
