In an exclusive interview, Ghana Hockey Association President Dr. Ben K.D Asante shared his vision for the future of hockey in Ghana, amidst the excitement of the ongoing Salpholda league. He expressed enthusiasm for the current season, citing the significant rise in competition and talent showcased.

Despite the positive atmosphere, Dr. Asante acknowledged challenges such as insufficient infrastructure and funding. However, he emphasized efforts to overcome these barriers and elevate the sport.

The President outlined a comprehensive plan to develop hockey in Ghana, including: Enhancing training facilities, Investing in youth development programs and Fostering greater community involvement.

He stressed the importance of collaboration among stakeholders, including government, private sector, and international hockey bodies.
