The Ghana Hotels Association Greater Accra Chapter has outlined its action plan for the next two years, focusing on membership engagement and retention, capacity building, effective utilization of technology, and promoting excellence and sustainability in the hospitality industry.

This was disclosed by the Chairperson of the Regional Association, Madam Clare Dada Banoeng-Yakubo, during the 1st Directors Forum held in Accra on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Madam Banoeng-Yakubo expressed her gratitude to the members for electing her and her team into office, pledging to work tirelessly to justify their trust and confidence. She emphasized the importance of active participation and support from all members in achieving the Association’s goals.

“We cannot do it alone. We need your collective wisdom, experience, and enthusiasm to drive our progress,” she stated.

The Chairperson outlined the Association’s theme for the next two years as “Building a Vibrant Hospitality Community, Empowering Members, Enhancing Excellence.” 

She explained that this theme would guide the Association’s programs and activities, aimed at promoting the interests of hotels and hospitality providers in the Greater Accra Region.

Madam Banoeng-Yakubo also expressed her appreciation to the Association’s sponsors for their support and commitment. She noted that their sponsorship was not just a financial investment but also a demonstration of their confidence in the Association and its mission.

The 1st Directors Forum provided an opportunity for the Association’s leadership to engage with members, share their vision and goals, and outline their action plan for the next two years. 

The event was attended by hotel owners, managers, and other stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
