Mr. Ramzi B.H Mabrouk, a certified ITTF level 2 Coaching Coordinator has described the Ghana Table Tennis Association as one of the greatest development hubs in Africa.

According to him, the association led by president Mawuko Afadzinu, Acting Technical Director, Charles Tachie-Menson Jnr and other executives are working tremendously and on the right path to ensure the total development of the game in the country.

Ramzi Mabrouk made the disclosure in an interview with this portal at the ongoing 5-Day ITTF level 1 coaching course in Accra.

“We have been monitoring the progress of Ghana for a while and I can tell you that the GTTA is really progressing. Developing of players, unearthing of talents and even giving support to younger players as well. They have made significant approaches in the past but under the current administration they are doing massively well,” he said.

“The ongoing coaching course by the association is to help nurture and upgrade the knowledge of local coaches.  So all these can tell us that Ghana Table Tennis Association is moving in the right direction,” he added.

He, however, urged the participants in the ongoing course to take advantage and utilize the opportunity.
