The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has extended invitations to prominent faith and national leaders to participate in a landmark national faith and cultural gathering, “Ghana in Praise – One Nation, One Praise,”
The event has been scheduled for Saturday, 3rd January 2026, at 6:00 PM at The Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
It is part of GTA’s growing calendar of faith, culture, and tourism initiatives aimed at showcasing Ghana as a nation anchored in unity, peace, moral leadership, and cultural heritage.
It will bring together ministers of the Gospel, cultural leaders, creatives, and worshippers from across Ghana and the global African diaspora in a unified moment of thanksgiving, consecration, and spiritual reflection as the nation welcomes the new year.
The gathering will feature an electrifying lineup of gospel artistes, including international stars Mercy Chinwo, Ada Ehi, and Steve Crown, alongside Ghanaian powerhouses Nacee, Empress Gifty, Joyce Blessing, and Noble Nketia, promising a night of inspiring worship and celebration.
Invited dignitaries include national and faith leaders whose contributions have shaped Ghana’s spiritual and moral landscape, among them Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Presidential Envoy in charge of Interfaith and Ecumenical Bodies.
GTA emphasizes that the participation of these leaders will provide spiritual guidance, encouragement, and inspiration to the nation at this sacred gathering.
Speaking on behalf of GTA, Chief Executive Officer Maame Efua Houadjeto highlighted that “Faith, culture, and heritage are pillars of Ghana’s identity and soft power. ‘Ghana in Praise’ is an opportunity for the nation to come together, give thanks, and commit the year ahead into God’s hands.”
The initiative is expected to strengthen the country’s cultural diplomacy, tourism appeal, and national cohesion, while providing a platform for engagement with the Ghanaian diaspora.
“Ghana in Praise – One Nation, One Praise” is part of GTA’s broader mission to position Ghana as a destination not only rich in history and creativity but also deeply anchored in faith, unity, and national values.
