Ghana has secured a spot in the knockout stage of the ongoing African Amputee Football Championship in Egypt after a hard-fought 2-1 win against Kenya.

The victory was sealed with goals from Hamza Mohammed in the 14th minute and Brown Williams in the 31st minute.

Kenya managed to score a consolation goal in the 29th minute. Hamza Mohammed, who was named MVP of the match, played a pivotal role in the team’s success.

So far, Ghana has been formidable, scoring 11 goals and conceding only once throughout the tournament.

The Black Challenge is set to face Tanzania in their knockout game on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
