Once again, Global Citizen is returning with its second edition in November 2024, the event saw a massive success in 2022 when they first came to Accra, with some big names like Usher, SZA, Stormzy, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy. This time, the festival plans to expand its reach to include both Accra and Kigali, Rwanda.

In an interview with Abena Soreno from Guide Radio, the Global Citizen team highlighted their commitment to celebrating African culture and promoting social causes. The festival aims to unite people through music and activism, continuing its tradition of drawing significant attention and showcasing top African talent.

With the previous event in Accra being successful, they plan building on that momentum with hopes of making this years festival even bigger. Global Citizen’s dual-city approach will amplify its impact across Africa, raising awareness and support for various social issues.

The lineup for the 2024 festivals is eagerly awaited, and the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, November is widely anticipated. Expectations high for another lineup of artists and performers.
