The Ghana National Fire Service men’s team emerged victorious in the National Ambulance Service corporate games, defeating National Ambulance Service 2-1 in the thrilling grand finale. Held at the Accra Academy Astro turf, the event brought together four teams: Best 11 FC, OB FC, Ghana National Fire Service, and National Ambulance Service.

The highly contested final match showcased exceptional sportsmanship and determination from both sides. The first half ended 1-1, with Ebenezer Awuku scoring for National Ambulance Service in the 15th minute. However, Fire Service took the lead in the second half with goals from Ebenezer Ampah (27′) and Erasmus Raphael Quaye (51′).

Rebecca Awuletey Narh, head coach of the Ghana National Fire Service, expressed her excitement over the win. “We are elated to have won this trophy, and I commend my team for their resilience and teamwork. This victory demonstrates our unity and dedication to excellence.” She added.

“We appreciate the National Ambulance Service for organizing this event, which has promoted camaraderie and healthy competition among participants,” Coach Awuletey Narh added.

The corporate games are part of the National Ambulance Service’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, aimed at fostering teamwork, promoting wellness, and recognizing the service’s milestones.
