The Functional Sports League Ghana (FSLG), with support from Groupe Imperial and High Protein Recovery, has launched its much-anticipated fitness campaign, Gofit Ghana Fitness Campaign Initiative, in Accra. The launch took place on May 1st during the maiden May Day sweat fest, which drew a huge attendance. This campaign aims to promote sustainable healthy lifestyles among Ghanaians through a series of engaging activities.
The campaign, which runs from May to the end of the year, will feature workshops, community engagement across 16 regions, fitness and awards nights, and more. These activities are designed to provide participants and fitness clubs with life-changing experiences that will empower them to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. William Kartey, Chief Director at the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, emphasized the importance of sports and physical activities in promoting healthy lifestyles. He stated that the initiative is part of a nationwide effort to inspire healthy living and urged fitness clubs and enthusiasts to embrace the campaign.
The Gofit Ghana Fitness Campaign Initiative is led by Mr. Charles Owusu Ansah, President of the Functional Sports League Ghana, and supported by prominent instructors. According to Mr. Ansah, the campaign will not only promote fitness but also serve as a means of eradicating communicable diseases through education and sustainable health plans.
The campaign is poised to make a lasting impact on fitness enthusiasts across Ghana, and its success will be a testament to the power of collaboration and community engagement in promoting healthy lifestyles.
