The Planning Committee of the 2025 Ahorbaa Kese festival of the Gomoa Assin Traditional Council has announced plans to hold a health walk/float on Saturday, 23rd August 2025.
The event forms part of the festival celebrations honoring their forefather and ancestor, Agya Ahor, as well as promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles and aims to sensitize the public on upcoming scheduled activities.
Nana Kumasah Krampah II, Omankrado of Gomoa Asempayin, and Divisional Omankrado urged constituents, including various divisional leaders, to participate in the festival activities, emphasizing that their involvement would promote the council.
Nana Kumasah Krampah II, who doubles as the Amankrakuahen of Gomoa Assin traditional council made the call during the official remembrance and honoring day held on Friday, 22nd August 2025 at Gomoa Assin.
“We invite all well-meaning Ghanaians and residents in Gomoa Assin to join us in celebrating our rich cultural heritage and promoting healthy living through the health walk. We look forward to a massive turnout,” he added.
According to him, the council is open to welcoming all investors and developmental projects.
This year’s Ahorbaa Kese is being held on the theme, “Remembering the Heroism of Agya Ahor: Uniting the People of Gomoa For Development”
