HipHop Africa Fest 2024, organized by HipHop Africa, has officially announced Ghanaian hiphop sensation Kwesi Arthur and Nigeria’s Psycho YP as the headliners for this year’s event, set to take place on December 28 at Untamed Empire in Accra. This high-energy festival will showcase Africa’s leading hiphop artists while fostering cultural unity through a shared passion for music and creativity.
The festival promises attendees an immersive experience filled with live performances, intense rap battles, and interactive pop-up activities. Designed as more than just a music event, HipHop Africa Fest 2024 will celebrate the broader culture of hiphop, featuring street art, skateboarding, fashion, and more, creating a unique space for cross-cultural engagement.
Muumba, the founder of HipHop Africa, highlighted the festival’s purpose as a platform to showcase and uplift African hiphop talent. “This is more than just a show; it’s a movement that gives Africa’s hiphop artists a chance to connect with fans and perform on a global stage,” he shared.
By combining music, art, and lifestyle, HipHop Africa Fest 2024 aims to represent the essence of African hiphop and build a community that appreciates and supports this genre across the continent.
