The 2025 Salpholda Hockey League entered Week 15 with action-packed encounters across both the men’s and women’s divisions.
In the men’s division, Arkmen and Police Men shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Arkmen struck first in the 5th minute through Okai Francis, but Police levelled in the 40th minute from a penalty corner before taking the lead five minutes later via a penalty stroke. Arkmen, however, clawed back in the 57th minute with a penalty corner equalizer to split the points.
Exchequers proved too strong for Legonknights, securing a comfortable 2-0 win thanks to a brace from Raphael Agyapong, while Army edged Reformers 2-1 in another tight contest.
In the women’s division, Army gained maximum points after Legonknights Ladies forfeited their fixture, awarding Army three points and three goals. Defending champions GRA Ladies battled past Extinguishers 1-0, with Vivian Narkuor’s 40th minute field goal.
Elsewhere, Police Ladies recorded a 2-1 victory over Reformers Ladies. Police drew first blood in the 7th minute through Martha Sarfoa before Abiba Konamah equalized in the 22nd minute. But Serwaa Boakye restored Police’s lead in the 37th minute to seal all three points.
The weekend’s results leave the title race and top-four battle wide open as the season nears its climax.
