GRA technical team member, Mr. Joseph Abaidoo praised the team’s outstanding season; “we’ve had a wonderful season, winning all domestic competitions from T. Tommy to Afahye and now the league season. Our team worked hard to achieve this unbeaten run and have proven that we are not just local champions but international ones as well. Other teams gave us a run for our money, but hard work overturned the results. We are now preparing for Africa, and with hard work, dedication, and perseverance, we will defend our Africa title too.”

In the men’s division, Exchequers successfully defended their title after a tight race with GRA. Both teams finished with 27 points, but Exchequers edged GRA on head-to-head advantage, recording 8 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss in 12 matches. Army followed closely in third with 25 points, Police were fourth with 16 points, Reformers fifth with 16 points, Arkmen sixth with 4 points, and Legonknights bottom with -1 point.

Exchequers coach Robert Agyree reflected on their campaign; “we had some complacency here and there this season, losing the T. Tommy Trophy to GRA and suffering defeat to Army, which made our season shaky. But in the end, we defended our title. Preparation for next season starts now, and all teams should watch out for Exchequers—we are leaving no stone unturned. Congratulations to the playing body, management, and our supporters for their love and commitment.

The champions were presented with trophies to mark their achievements. Teams will now shift focus to the upcoming 2025 Knockout competitions, while GRA Ladies prepare for continental duties.
