Ja Rule, the renowned American rapper and producer, has embarked on an educational venture in Ghana, partnering with Pencils of Promise to build a classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School in the Eastern Region. Arriving in Ghana on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, Ja Rule, alongside his wife and team, aims to make a significant impact by expanding educational opportunities in the developing world.
The Nuaso Anglican Primary School will witness a transformative change with the construction of the classroom block, reflecting Ja Rule’s commitment to education. This initiative follows in the footsteps of other celebrities, such as comedian Michael Blackson, who inaugurated the “Michael Blackson Academy” in Agona Nsaba, Central Region, offering free education to Ghanaian youth.
During his visit, Ja Rule also immersed himself in Ghana’s cultural heritage, visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Accra. Paying homage to Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ja Rule explored the park’s museum, which houses artifacts related to Ghana’s struggle for independence.
