Ghanaian actor John Peasah, popularly known as Drogba from the hit TV series YOLO, has revealed his ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and Sleep Apnea. Diagnosed with SPS in March 2024, Peasah has faced numerous challenges, including multiple hospital visits without significant improvement. Despite seeking various treatments in Ghana, his condition remains unchanged, prompting him to seek medical care abroad.

In a recent interview, Peasah shared his struggles with treatment, explaining that his condition does not respond well to conventional therapies. His neurologist diagnosed him with SPS after several months of tests, but the prescribed treatments have only provided minimal relief. Peasah also disclosed that he has been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, a condition that disrupts his breathing during sleep, adding to his health complications.

Peasah described his distressing experience with Sleep Apnea, where he often stops breathing for extended periods during sleep. This new diagnosis has left both him and his doctors puzzled, as it complicates his existing health issues. The actor expressed the emotional toll of these diagnoses, highlighting the difficulty in managing such rare conditions.
