The Kaneshie Electoral Area is poised to benefit from a fully funded community borehole, courtesy of Leisure Hands Charity Foundation, a non-governmental organization. The project, which commenced last week, is expected to be completed by the end of March this year. The borehole will provide safe and reliable water to the entire community, including parts of Kaneshie.

According to Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo, the Assembly Member for the area, “Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, and we are grateful to Leisure Hands Charity Foundation for their support in making this a reality for our community.” He expressed his appreciation for the foundation’s efforts, emphasizing that the initiative aligns with his vision and mandate.

The community borehole project is a significant step towards improving the lives of residents in the Kaneshie Electoral Area. With the borehole, community members will no longer have to rely on unreliable water sources, reducing the risk of water-borne diseases.

Leisure Hands Charity Foundation’s support for the project demonstrates their commitment to addressing the needs of marginalized communities. By providing access to clean water, the foundation is contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

The completion of the borehole by the end of March is expected to bring relief to community members, who have long been awaiting a reliable water source. As Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo noted, “This project is a testament to what can be achieved when organizations and community leaders work together towards a common goal.”
