Award-winning Afrobeat sensation Dennis Nana Dwamena, known widely as KiDi, has revealed plans to release his third studio album titled ‘Where Do We Go From Here’. This marks his first release of the year, and it’s already generating excitement among fans in Ghana and across the world.
Although the full tracklist hasn’t been disclosed yet, KiDi hinted at the album featuring “amazing records” and surprise collaborations, raising expectations for what promises to be another strong addition to his music catalogue.
KiDi is well-known for hit songs like ‘Touch It’, ‘Blessed’, ‘Thunder’, ‘Enjoyment’, ‘Odo’, and ‘Adiepena’. His latest single ‘Lomo Lomo’ featuring Black Sherif, which is part of the upcoming album, continues to do well on streaming platforms and radio charts, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
He first broke onto the music scene in 2017 with ‘Say You Love Me’, and quickly became a household name. In 2018, his track ‘Odo’ won Highlife Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards, setting the stage for a successful career.
KiDi released his debut album ‘Sugar’ in 2019, which later earned him the Album of the Year award at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). The same year, he was named Male Vocalist of the Year. In 2021, he dropped his second album ‘The Golden Boy’, which featured popular songs like ‘Touch It’, ‘Mon Bebe’, and ‘Spiritual’ featuring Kuami Eugene and Patoranking.
Since signing to Lynx Entertainment, KiDi has performed on major stages alongside some of Africa’s biggest artists including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Samini, Tiwa Savage, and Patoranking.
While the official release date for ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ is yet to be announced, KiDi shared that his team, including top producers, is working hard to deliver a project that fans will love. With his consistent track record and strong fanbase, this album is already being tipped to be another hit.
