A delegation from the Legal Green Association (LGA) of Ghana, a group of professional law students, has paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, to express their appreciation for his commitment to the development of the city, particularly in youth empowerment initiatives.
The delegation led by Festus Matey included Evans Mawunyo Tsikata, Head of Politics and Elections, Ebenezer Sefa-Kissi, Deputy General Secretary, and Don Emmanuel Agbanyo, a member.
Speaking during the interaction, the leader of the delegation commended the Mayor’s “unwavering dedication and hands-on leadership style” that continues to inspire young people across the city noting that the Mayor’s empowerment programmes and support for youth-led initiatives had directly benefited many of their members.
He described the meeting as an opportunity to personally thank the Mayor for his visionary leadership and inclusive approach towards building a “Smart, Safer, Vibrant, and Resilient Accra.”
“We are ready to offer our services and expertise to the Mayor’s office in any capacity he deems fit,” he said, adding that they were committed to partnering with the Assembly to realise the Mayor’s vision of transforming Accra.
